115 Years of Heritage, Service & Sisterhood *
Community Heritage
The Sweetwater Woman’s Club carries a proud legacy of service dating back over a century. From our historic Bonita clubhouse to our community programs, our heritage continues to inspire local connection and giving.
Service
Service is at the heart of everything we do.
Through scholarships, community events, and volunteer efforts, our members work together to support local students, families, and organizations across the South Bay.
Sisterhood
The Sweetwater Woman’s Club brings together women who share a passion for community and friendship. Through collaboration, support, and shared purpose, members build lasting connections while making a meaningful difference.
About Us
The Sweetwater Woman’s Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Members support the South Bay community through volunteer projects, fundraising events, and scholarships for local students.
Venue Rental
Our charming rustic Clubhouse built in 1934 is perfect for weddings, birthday parties, quinceaneras, meetings, community events, and more! Located at 3855 Sweetwater Road, Bonita, California.
Founded in 1920, the Sweetwater Union High School District serves over 34,000 students and 10,000 adult learners across diverse communities in the South Bay, reflecting a rich multicultural and multilingual population.
In 2025, the SWC Scholarship Committee awarded 13 high school seniors $1,500 scholarships and supporting additional students through targeted programs. Through these efforts, SWC continues to make a meaningful impact by recognizing student achievement and strengthening community engagement in education.
Giving back isn’t just an action—it’s a responsibility.
We are proud to be actively involved in philanthropic projects that focus on uplifting and supporting our local communities. From volunteering our time to contributing resources, every effort is driven by a shared goal: creating meaningful, lasting impact where it matters most.
By working closely with community members, we aim to empower individuals, support local initiatives, and help build stronger, more resilient neighborhoods.
Together, we can make a difference—one project, one partnership, and one community at a time. 💙
The Sweetwater Woman’s Club Bunco program is a lively and engaging social event that brings members and guests together for an afternoon of fun, connection, and friendly competition. Proceeds from Bunco support the club’s philanthropic efforts, including scholarships . Through this popular program, the club fosters camaraderie while making a meaningful impact in the communities it serves. Everyone is invited.
Sweetwater Union High School District Scholarships
Through our charitable efforts every year, SWC proudly awarded $20,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors across the Sweetwater Union High School District. Scholarships were presented at all 12 comprehensive high schools, helping students take their next step toward higher education.
One of the most rewarding experiences for the Sweetwater Woman’s Club is participating in local high school award assemblies and celebrating the achievements of our scholarship recipients during our June General Meeting.
