About Us
The Sweetwater Woman's Club has proudly served the Bonita and South Bay communities for over a century! Since 1911, we’ve supported local high school scholarships through the Sweetwater Union High School District and partnered with small, local nonprofits to make a lasting impact.
Located at 3855 Sweetwater Road in Bonita, our clubhouse is steeped in history and charm. The original clubhouse, built in 1913, was lost in the 1916 flood when the Sweetwater Dam broke. In 1934, the current clubhouse was constructed in a serene eucalyptus grove donated by the Sweetwater Valley Fruit Company.
Inside, you’ll find beautifully preserved features from its original design:

- Distinctive kiva-style fireplace
- Thick adobe-style walls
- Elegant French doors
